Did you know that gloves are fashion symbol of more romantic times? At those times, they weren’t just an accessory, but a crucial part of wardrobe when it was unthinkable to go anywhere without them.
The good manners command that a lady shouldn’t take off her gloves when giving you her hand as a way of greeting. That’s why you can wear your jewelry on them, bracelets, rings or watches.
In the restaurant you should take them off, and put them away along with your purse, or put them on the back of your chair.
A lady shouldn’t have long nail when wearing gloves.
They should match the color of your purse and shoes. You can combine them with other pieces of your clothes as well, the rules aren’t that strict.
Every winter, gloves were a part of my clothes as well as hats. But I never even dreamed that wearing them in the summer would give me so needed glamour. A few years ago, while looking for a perfect accessory, I found black gloves. And I thought that maybe I should give gloves a chance. I tried them on and while looking in the mirror I couldn’t help but wonder why I’ve never worn these before. Since then I’ve been wearing gloves regardless the season.
